                        The Staff  

 The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs supports the faculty and staff in
acquiring and administering external grants for research and other sponsored projects 
We are responsible for the preaward process and negotiation of awards. Working
collaboratively with a variety of fiscal offices, ORSP seeks to ensure the stewardship
of funds for externally funded grants and contract activities. 

Functions of the ORSP

·       Identifies funding sources

·       Provides technical support

·       Assists with budget preparation

·       Submits and administers grants and contracts

·       Ensures the stewardship of the external funds

·       Protects the researchers’ freedom of investigation and reporting
